MI Independent Citizens Redistricting Committee

The League of Women Voters will be holding an information webinar on Thursday, Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. Join thousands of your neighbors and Michiganders across the state by making your voice heard to help shape our federal and state legislative district boundaries for the next 10 years.

For the first time in our state’s history, a commission of 13 randomly selected Michigan citizens – not politicians or lobbyists – are responsible for drawing fair and representative election districts.

Join in to hear about the proposed maps that will affect your county.

Your webinar is Thursday, Oct. 21 at 7 p.m. This is the registration link for your webinar.

The League presenter is David Allen and he will cover all of the Upper Peninsula counties, counties north of Isabella, Bay, Gladwin, Mecosta, Newago, and Oceana.

The public hearing that is closest to your locations is on Monday, Oct. 25, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. at Treetops Resort, 3962 Wilkinson Road, Gaylord.

People can register to speak in person or virtually at the public hearings. Find out more during the webinar!
