ONTONAGON — A single-vehicle crash Wednesday in Ontonagon left one man dead and another person seriously injured.

The crash occurred at 11:30 p.m. on Norwich Road, 1,240 feet south of Domitrovich Road. A vehicle driven by a 36-year-old Ontonagon resident left the roadway while traveling north on Norwich Road. It traveled nearly 400 feet through a ditch before hitting a tree and coming to rest facing the opposite direction.
