Delivery of new waste management carts delayed
Delivery of the trash and recyclables carts has been delayed.
The City of Houghton trash and recyclables carts will be delivered beginning Tuesday, May 29. It will take approximately two days to deliver them. Residents can continue the present system until Monday, June 5. On Monday, June 5 all of the carts will have been delivered and all trash and recyclables will be placed inside the carts. Thank you for your patience.
Also, remember that Waste Management honors Memorial Day so all trash and recyclables collection will be delayed one day that week.
