• Veterans Day dinner in Calumet

Calumet American Legion Post 61 will hold its annual Veterans Day Dinner on Saturday, November 11, at the National Guard Readiness Center in Calumet. Social hour with hors d’oeuvres will begin at 5:30 p.m. with dinner at 6:30 with a program to follow. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at Copper World, L&L Bar and the Mohawk Superette, or by calling 906-337-4045 and leaving a message.

• Free breakfast to all Baraga County veterans & family

L’Anse American Legion Post 144 will host a free breakfast for all Baraga County veterans, family members and caregivers at 8 a.m. Baraga County Veterans Service Officer Doug Gray will be there to answer questions about benefits and offer assistance in applying.

• Health & Wellness Fair

Veterans Health & Wellness Fair will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, at Baraga American Legion Post 444. Roast beef lunch will be served, $10 per person and free for veterans. A post member will be available to renew all 2024 dues.

• The Pressbox Bar and Grill at the Ojibwa Casino in Baraga will host a Veterans Day luncheon from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The menu includes roast beef, mashed potatoes, vegetable and dessert. There is no charge for veterans. Others will be asked for an $8 donation, with proceeds donated to the Dominic Jacobetti Veterans Home to provide personal care packages.

• Applebee’s Veterans Day free meal

Applebee’s is offering military Veterans and current military personnel a free meal from a select menu on Veterans Day. Proof of service is required.

• Circle K fuels service members with free coffee

All Circle K locations that serve coffee will be thanking veterans and active military for their service with a free medium coffee on Veterans Day.

• Little Caesars Veterans Day offer

A free $5.99 Hot-N-Ready lunch combo, which includes four slices of Detroit-style deep dish pepperoni pizza and a 20-ounce Pepsi product, to each veteran or active military between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m., or while supplies last. Offer expires at 2 p.m.

• Sherwin-Williams military discount

Sherwin-Williams stores honor veterans and the military with a special 15% discount on paints, stains and painting supplies on Veterans Day.

• Tractor Supply celebrates veterans

Tractor Supply offers a 15% discount in stores nationwide Saturday, Nov. 11. All service members, veterans and their dependents with a valid military ID or proof of service are eligible for the promotion.
