HOUGHTON — Holiday shopping in the Copper Country gets an extra boost this weekend.

The Daily Mining Gazette will host its second craft and vendor show of the season from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Copper Country Mall in Houghton.

At least 45 vendors will provide a variety of holiday gift-giving ideas. Crafts, apparel, bakery, jams, jellies and salsas will be available to purchase, and don’t forget to grab lunch at the show, too.

Vendors representing brands such as Tupperware, 31 Gifts and Tastefully Simple will be on hand.

Gazette staff will be at the mall to greet vendors, crafters and shoppers and will offer chances for prizes and giveaways. All are welcome to warm up at their coffee stand to benefit Newspapers in Education programs.
