Vehicle stolen in Keweenaw County

GRANT TOWNSHIP — At about 8:10 a.m. Wednesday, a black 2015 Nissan Pathfinder was stolen from Superior Street in Lac La Belle, according to a release from the Keweenaw County Sheriff’s Office.

The vehicle has a white Sayen’s plate on the front bumper, with the Michigan registration listed as DQW0736.

Undersheriff Tonya Stefonich said that according to available video footage, the driver appears to be a 34-year-old, white male, 5 feet, nine inches tall, 165 pounds with shoulder length hair. Stefonich said the driver’s hair color was not apparent in the video.

According to a Thursday update, the suspect sought in the theft of a black Nissan SUV in Grant Township, Keweenaw County was arrested in Lisle, Illinois and is in custody there.
