Man dead after Adams Twp. crash

HOUGHTON — One person is dead after a crash in Adams Township Friday night.

About 7:23 p.m. Friday, deputies from the Houghton County Sheriff’s Office were called to the scene of a personal injury crash on M-26 at Range Auto Body. 

A 66-year-old man was pronounced dead on scene.  

No further information is available at this time, as the incident remains under investigation, the sheriff’s department said. 

The Houghton County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the Michigan State Police, Adams Township First Responders, Mercy EMS, Superior Service Towing and South Range Fire Department.
