The Houghton High School Alumni Association officers and organizing committee is excited for the return of the in-person all-class reunion this summer and proudly announces registration is open for the 2024 festivities, to be held July 18-19 in Houghton.

All graduates of Houghton High School and their guests are invited to attend. Activities include; flag raising ceremony, BBQ-Pasty picnic at the Ray Kestner Waterfront Park, alumni breakfast with the Superintendent, memorial Roll Call tribute, tour of the Keweenaw Brewery plant in South Range, along with an evening mixer and buffet dinner at the Bonfire Restaurant in Houghton on Friday July 19. A golf outing may be added to the schedule pending adequate interest.

The committee will recognize classes of 1999 and 1974 celebrating milestones of 25 and 50 years. Also, 50 years since the swim program returned to school athletic program. The detailed schedule of events and registration materials can be found on the Houghton Portage Township School district website/alumni page, and preregistration is required to attend all events. Posters advertising the reunion have been distributed to various businesses, with convenience of a QR code, which will help smartphone users access registration materials and information on the district website.
