Carnegie Museum closed for construction
The Carnegie Museum’s building will be closed for construction until Tuesday Dec. 9. The building will be closed while they modernize its 1908 water closet. While the building is closed, staff will still be working, so look for information coming soon to reserve your gingerbread kits.
Thank you to the Keweenaw National Historical Park Advisory Commission for a grant and to the City of Houghton DPW for the labor.
The museum will reopen in time for its Annual Holiday Open House, 1 – 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 13.
