City of Hancock special joint meeting today
HOUGHTON — A special joint meeting of the Hancock City Council, Planning Commission, and Downtown Development Authority will be held at 6 p.m. today in the Wiitanen Room of the HOCO, 1500 Birch St. Hancock.
On the agenda is an update on the Houghton County Jail proposal from County Commissioner Glenn Anderson and an update on the Finno-ugric – Cultural Capital Designation
There will be reports from the Planning Commission and updates from the DDA, an election update from Linda Kalinec and a police update from Hancock Chief Tami Sleeman.
There will also be an opportunity for public comment.
