KNHPAC to meet

CALUMET TOWNHIP – The Keweenaw National Historical Park Advisory Commission has scheduled its quarterly meeting for Tues. April 28 at 1 p.m. at the park headquarters on Red Jacket Road.
“This is our first meeting after the retirement of (KNHP) Superintendent Wendy Davis,” KNHPAC Executive Director Sean Gohman said. “The format will slightly different as staff member will be reporting directly on park activities.”
Agendas and minutes will be provided at the meeting.
The Keweenaw National Historical Park (KNHP) Advisory Commission is a seven-member federal body established in 1992 to support KNHP through partnership, preservation, and interpretation of copper mining history. It acts as a liaison between the National Park Service and local communities, managing the Keweenaw Heritage Grants program
