IONIA Doris A. Crowley, 80, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2016.

Doris was born Doris Ann Bauer on January 15, 1936, in Lansing. She was the daughter of Leo and Rose Bauer.

Doris was a 1953 graduate from St. Mary High School in Lansing, where she attended with her classmate and husband-to-be, Jim Crowley.

Doris met Jim by chance five years after graduation and began dating. They were married in 1960 and began their family life in Lansing.

Doris is preceded in death by her son, Patrick Crowley; sister, Arlene (Hamilton); and brothers, Vernon and Bob. She is now grieved by her surviving Bauer and Crowley family members.
