Mary Anne (McAdam) Elack

Mary Anne was born in Ann Arbor on October 2, 1940. She graduated from Houghton High School and St. Joseph School of Nursing in Hancock.

She married David Elack in Houghton in 1960. Mary Anne and Dave lived in Michigan and Indiana, before moving to Phoenix in 1978.

She had a long career as a registered nurse, enjoyed running marathons, was active in her church as a deacon and in the choir.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David and Mildred McAdam: a sister, Deborah Lynn Doskas; and a son, Evan Allen Elack.

She is survived by her husband, David; children, David Jr., Michael and Anastasia of Arizona; and her brother, David of Hurontown. There is also two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at the Shepard of the Pines Methodist Church in Overgaard, Arizona, on October 15, 2016.
