Paul D. Kangas
HARTLAND — Paul D. Kangas, 62, died February 23, 2018, at his home in Hartland surrounded by his family.
Paul was born July 27, 1955, in Laurium. Following his graduation from Calumet High School, he moved to Minnesota and then to the Detroit area.
He was employed in the advertising business as a senior graphic designer, working with automotive clients.
Paul is the beloved husband of Linda (nee Leino) for 39 years; loving father of Katrina (Jason) Branson, Anna (Tom) Asiala, Alison Kangas and Erik Kangas; cherished grandfather of Avery, Hannah, Daniel, Harold, Elise and Penny; dear brother of Earl (Shirley) Kangas, Jerry (Julie) Kangas, Ellen Torola and Gloria (Ernie) Harju; and son in-law of Harold and the late Helen Leino. Paul is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, Reino and Hilya (nee Olson) Kangas; his sister, Jane (Don) McAvoy; and brother in-law, Peter Torola.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at 11 a.m. at the First Apostolic Lutheran Church, 2970 Oak Grove Rd., Howell, MI 48855.
