Paula Jean Englund

She was born on December 1, 1984, a daughter of Erick and Brenda (Schmitt) Englund.

She graduated from Lake Linden-Hubbell High School and attended Northern Michigan University. She worked at Hudson’s in Marquette and at various restaurants and craft breweries in California. She was a cheerleader in high school and enjoyed participating in pool tournaments.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather-Melvin Schmitt and grandparents, Godfrey and Melba Englund.

She is survived by her parents; two sisters, Michelle Englund of Lake Linden and Ellen Englund of Midland; significant other, Rob Graham; niece, Elizabeth Holzberger; grandmother, Ann Schmitt; and numerous friends and relatives.

Paula was full of life and a genuine friend. She had a contagious smile and could light up a room by just being in it. Her wish was that her organs be donated to help others.

Paula’s family will greet friends on Tuesday, August 20, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden.
