Sandra (Ponnikas) Blevins
HANCOCK — Sandra (Ponnikas) Blevins was born on October 31, 1958, in Hancock, to the late Allan and Kathy Ponnikas. On July 14, 1979, she was married to Albert Blevins.
Sandi loved clowns and performed as Buttons the clown for 15 years of her life. She was active with her church as a Sunday school teacher and Confirmation Mentor. Community Theater was a very important part of her life. She loved musicals. Sandi worked at numerous jobs through out her life. She enjoyed helping the elderly so the Neighbor to Neighbor Volunteer Caregivers of Door County, Inc. held a special place in her heart.
Sandy Graduated with the Class of 1976, in Hancock.
She is survived by her husband, Albert; two sons, Joshua (Katie) Blevins and Levi (Karen) Blevins; five grandchildren, Tristan, Eilonwy, Steven, Walter, and Dennis Blevins; one brother, Richard Ponnikas; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Allan Ponnikas; her mother, Kathryn Ponnikas; her sister, Valerie Ross; her brother, Kevin Ponnikas; and her grandparents.
Memorial Gathering will be at Gloria Dai Lutheran Church Hancock on Monday August 26, 2019, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
