Michael J. Olson

Michael was born on May 31, 1953, in Detroit to Evelyn (Toivonen) Olson and Irving Olson. He grew up in Mass City. The elder brother to four sisters; Connie Kilpela, Diane Ahola, Tracey Olson and Shelley Olson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Surviving are his wife of 29 years, Mary Williams; his step-son, David Woodcuff; David’s wife, Jennifer; and four grandsons, Zack, Alex, Colton, and Finn; his four sisters and their families; aunt, Pat O’Shea; uncle and aunt, Jerry and Barb Toivonen; special nephew, Derek Ahola and his wife, Jill; great niece, Ally Girl; his favorite cousins, Kathy and Don & family, Mark and Mary Kay; and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Chwalik and Judy Wicker; brothers-in-law, C. John Wicker (Carol Schave), Paul Wicker (Deb Martin) and Christopher Wicker (Michelle Lee) and their families; and many friends and neighbors.

Services are scheduled for Saturday, October 5, 2019, at the Aura Lutheran Church, Aura Rd., Aura at 11 a.m. with Pastor Peter Suomela officiating.

Luncheon will be served directly following the services at The Aura Fire Hall, Aura Rd., Aura.

Graveside service will be at a later date.
