Mary E. Gravitter

She was born in Calumet, to William and Mina (Echline) Dwyer on March 18, 1926. She attended the Calumet schools and worked for many years in the bookkeeping office at Vertin’s Department Store in Calumet.

After her retirement, she spent part of each year in Tucson with her family.

Preceding Mary in death were her husband, Robert (Bob, Besz) Gravitter; her parents; her sister, Clair (Dwyer) Shute; and two brothers, Robert and Clarence Dwyer.

Mary is survived by her sister, Shirley (Dwyer) Abele; brother-in-law, Bernard Shute; nieces, Terri Drielick, Susan Lazzaretto and Lisa Mabey; and nephew, William D. Dwyer.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at the Ryan Funeral Home.

A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at the Sacred Heart Church in Calumet. www.ryanfhcalumet.com.
