James Clyde Chevalier

CALUMET — James Clyde Chevalier, 50, of Calumet went home to be with the lord on Friday, September 4, 2020. Jim was a member of Calumet’s 1989 graduating Class where he participated in ROTC.

Jim was a cook for several area restaurants but he is most well known for his musical endeavors. Jim was known in the community for his musical ability and his involvement with several area bands. Jim was a kind hearted, generous man with a infectious sense of humor. Jim’s many stories and animated demeanor would bring instant joy and laughter.

Jim is survived by his loving son Garrett Chevalier of Calumet, his mother Yvonne Chevalier of Marquette, his brothers William (Kari) Chevalier of Calumet, Stephen Chevalier of Gwinn and Michael (Jessica) Chevalier of Marquette as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Jim was preceded in death by his father Joseph Chevalier.

Condolences and sympathies can be sent to the Erickson Crowley Funeral Home. A service is planned at the Ahmeek Cemetery on Friday, September 11, 2020, at 2 p.m.
