Wendell I. Lantto

Wendell was born December 5, 1934 in Baltic, to Matthew and Helen (Kerenan) Lantto.

He proudly served in the United States Air Force for 20 years during the Vietnam War.

Wendell worked for the USPS for over 27 years. He enjoyed bowling and fishing.

Wendell was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Lois (Roger) Korpela.

Wendell will be deeply missed by his wife, Doris of 62 years; children, Pamela (Jim) Whitmer, Timmy (Linda) Lantto, Wendell “Jack” Lantto II, Matthew Lantto; 10 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; brothers, James (JoAnn) Lantto, Peter (Gloria) Lantto along with many other family and friends.

Memorial Service will be Tuesday, May 11, 2021, at 2 p.m. with a visitation to follow until 5 p.m. at Newcomer NE Chapel, 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice.
