William ‘Howard’ Nichola
LAKE CITY, Fla. — Mr. William “Howard” Nichola, age 105, son of William and Aurora Nichola of Dodgeville, passed away Friday, July 2, 2021, in Lake City.
Howard was born February 3, 1916.
In his 105 years, he has seen the whole world change before his very eyes, including surviving the great depression.
He served our country valiantly in World War II, and spent many years helping others.
He joins in the hereafter his father; mother; and sisters, Gerry, Timmie, Jeanie; and his brother, Vernon.
He leaves behind his nieces, Diane and Kris (Charlie); his nephews Rick and Rex (Kim); and many others who will never forget him.
He was a beloved uncle, mentor, and trusted friend.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Rest in Yahuah’s loving care Howie.
