Dennis Joseph ‘Joe’ Grose
ARIZONA CITY, Ariz. — Dennis Joseph “Joe” Grose was born April 14, 1939, youngest child of Joseph Peter Grose and Alice (Heikkinen) Grose of Allouez.
Joe graduated Calumet High School class of 1959.
Following graduation he joined the United States Air Force stationed at McCord A.F.B as crew chief for fighter planes. He was honorably discharged, returned home and became a police officer for the city of Houghton. After moving to Arizona, he worked as a jet mechanic for Lockheed and General Dynamics.
He married Sandra Mehner of Calumet having one daughter, Jolee Grose.
He is preceded in death by his parents, step father Alex Anttila; wives, Sandra and Terry (Wiley) Grose, and sisters, Viola (Grose) Taskila, Vivian (Grose) Taskila and brother, Paul Grose.
He is survived by his daughter Jolee, sister-in-law, Marlene (Maronen) Grose, and several nephews and nieces.
Joe passed away on April 11, 2021 in Arizona City.
