Susan O. (Heard) Bertram

She passed away on September 14, 2021, at the age of 69 years old, in Kingman after a lengthy illness.

She was born in Laurium, and graduated from Calumet High School.

Among her jobs were working as an aide to the elderly at Houghton County Medical Care and Cypress Manor.

She was known for her kind heart, love of animals, and striking good looks. To know her was to love her.

She was predeceased by her parents John and Nellie Heard of Mohawk.

She is survived by her two daughters, Tami Rascona, and Sara Nye; two sisters, Darlene LoPresti and Barbara Heard; three grandchildren; twins, Andrew and Vincent Rascona, and Noah Wissinger, and nieces and nephews.

If you had the pleasure of knowing her, you could never forget her. She lit up every room, and was best described as an angel on earth. She had a heart of gold, and will be sadly missed.
