Allan Mitchell Eidemiller

Born in Ironwood, Allan worked in the automotive industry in the 1950s in the Detroit area. A well respected and efficient quick learner, Allan started a tool and die business in 1966. This endeavor grew to three successful companies.

He sold his interests in 1977 for his first retirement at 45 years old and moved to California for 13 years. Upon returning to the Detroit area he worked for five more years with his son at the company he founded, until his final retirement to Laurium.

Predeceased by parents Howard and Marguerite (Adams) Eidemiller and siblings Richard and Marjorie (Erickson). Cherished husband of Grace (Paquette) for 70 years, married at St. Joseph’s church in Lake Linden.

Loving father of Mitchell (d), Janice (d) and Martin, grandfather of nine and great grandfather of 14.

From his first job at the C&H Mining Company to an accomplished ski jumper, he lived a wonderful life traveling throughout the U.S. and Europe.

There will be a High Mass for Allan at St. Joseph’s church.
