Carolyn Huhta
CAUMET — Carolyn Huhta, 74, a resident of Calumet passed away on Saturday October 30, 2021 at U.P. Health System Portage.
She was born on September 25, 1947, in Detroit, a daughter of the late Henry and Marie (Feiten) Whyte.
On December 11, 1965, she was united in marriage to Robert L. Huhta.
She loved to do various crafts and made many different jams and jellies and was known in the area as the Jam Lady.
Preceding her in death were her siblings, Peggy, Betty, Patricia, Allen and Dick.
Surviving are her husband, Bob; sons, Norman (Kathy) Huhta of Calumet, Jeff (Kim) Huhta of Clarkston, MI; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren; two sisters, Sharon (Bob) Keating of Brighton, MI, Marie (Craig) Campbell of Brighton, MI.
Visitation will be on Thursday November 4, 2021, from 4-7 P.M. in the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home in Calumet.
