John “Henry” Cummings
LAKE LINDEN — John “Henry” Cummings, 68, of Lake Linden, passed away November 5, 2021, at UP Health System-Marquette after a battle with COPD and respiratory issues.
He was born on March 21, 1953, a son of Andrew and Betty Cummings.
He graduated from Lake Linden Hubbell High School in 1972.
He dedicated his life to raising his 14 special needs children.
He was married to Katherine LaMarre on November 11, 1972, nearly 49 years ago.
He was a member of the Lake Linden United Methodist Church.
He was an outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, camping, fishing, and wildlife.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and children Benjamin, Mary Elizabeth, Daniel Skye, and William Ray.
John Henry is survived by: his wife Kathy; sons and daughters- Kenneth, Noah, Antonio, Brian, Alexander, Jennifer, Amber, Nicholas, Brittany, and Melinda; 3 grandchildren; one great granddaughter; niece-Roxanne Stahl; special great niece Melissa Heckel; and several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at a later date. The Pearce Funeral Home in Lake Linden is in charge of arrangements.
