Thomas Lahti
FULTON, Mich. — Thomas Lahti, age 70, of Fulton, passed away peacefully at his home on November 24, 2021, surrounded by his family.
Thomas was born on January 29, 1951, in Laurium to William and June (Luokkanen) Lahti.
Thomas lived his life in the Copper Country. He worked as a miner in the White Pine Copper Mines. He enjoyed spending time in the outdoors hunting and fishing. Thomas loved his family very much and he loved spending time with them.
Thomas is preceded in death by his parents; William and June Lahti, and his brother; William “Ooga” Lahti.
Thomas is survived by his daughter, Laura (Randall) Suhonen of Fulton; his sons; Jason (Nicki) Lahti of Mohawk and Robert (Corinnea) Lahti of Copper City; his nine grandchildren, Casey, Alyssa, Jordan, Finn, Hunter, Lilly Cora, Max and Ronnie; his brothers, Paul (Katherine) Lahti of Fulton, Ronald (Jennifer) Lahti of Fulton, Robert (Jo Ellen) Lahti of Boyne City, Michigan; his sisters, Naomi (Roger) Kangas of Ishpeming, Dorothy Kilpela of Ishpeming; his sister in-law, Beatrice Lahti.
A private family service for Thomas Lahti has been held.
