Rautiola, 68, dearest husband of Ann (Jurmu) Rautiola of 47 years and devoted father of James (Betsy) Rautiola, Jeffrey (Jane) Rautiola, Steven (Diana) Rautiola, Jane (Dan) Pietila, Dan (Amy) Rautiola, Kevin Rautiola, Peter (Emily) Rautiola, David (Kendra) Rautiola, Megan (Nathan) Lasanen, Johanna (Tyler) Kinnunen, Lori (Dane) Anderson, Molly (Damon) Kangas; dearest grandfather of 71 grandchildren. Loving son of Laurie and Edna (Kero) Rautiola and dear brother of Francis (Bonnie) Rautiola and Lynda (Kurt) Heinonen.
Who was preceded in death by a grandson Rowan Kinnunen, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021, at the UP Health System – Portage hospital following a short illness.
A memorial service for Delmar was held at 1 p.m. Monday, December 20, 2021, at the First Apostolic Lutheran Church of Houghton with David Tailvalkoski officiating.
