CALUMET — Melvin R. Niemi, 89, a resident of Calumet and Lake Linden passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 29, 2021, at UP Health System – Portage.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday January 4, 2022, at the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home with George Newman to officiate. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 4, 2022, from 11 a.m. until the time of the service.
Burial will take place in the Jacobsville Cemetery.
