Vicki M. Evilsizer
HANCOCK — Vicki M. Evilsizer, 78, of Hancock, entered the gates of Heaven February 11, 2022.
Born March 23, 1943 to Donald and Stella Bovee, she is survived by her husband of nearly 59 years and best friend, Donald L. Evilsizer; son, Joel (Lesley) Evilsizer; daughters, Anne (Todd) Childers, Bethany (James) Goff, seven grandchildren and two great-grandsons – all of whom she dearly loved. She is also survived by siblings Wendy Bovee, Greg (Netta) Bovee, Ken Bovee, sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
Vicki was a mother, grandmother, great grandma, sister, aunt, friend, but most of all, she was a child of God and pastor’s wife. She prepared and taught Sunday School, junior church, organized countless vacation Bible schools (all those crafts!), she sang, organized meals, decorated weddings she did it all and never faltered in love and support for her husband.
She also enjoyed reading, southern gospel music, crafts of all kinds, crocheting, board games, spending time with family, cooking and baking the best treats ever. She loved us all and was deeply loved in return. We are thankful for the promise of Heaven to those who believe and trust in Jesus Christ. We know we will see her again.
A memorial and interment will take place at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Keweenaw Baptist Church, P.O. Box 169, Calumet, Michigan 49913.
