Anges Montle

Agnes was born January 11, 1934, in Jacobsville, Michigan, to the late Warner and Florence (Karvakko) Jutila

On August 28, 1954, she married the love of her life, Raymond Montle, and together they shared 62 years of marriage. Raymond preceded her in death in 2016.

Agnes worked for Zehender’s of Frankenmuth for 10 years before becoming a stay-at-home mom. She enjoyed playing bingo, flower gardening, and being outdoors watching the birds and deer. Agnes loved to keep her hands busy crocheting, knitting, and quilting in her spare time. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew her. An extended thank you from the family to Joe Claveau and Dave Dunkel who helped care for Agnes during her final days.

Agnes was preceded in death by brother, Werner “Eppie” Jutila; and grandson, Brian “Boomer” Geyer.

Agnes is forever loved by her children, Donna (Steven) Geyer, Debra (Rodney) Harpst, Charles (Tonya) Montle, Diane Porter, and Roger Montle; grandchildren, Kevin Geyer, Jeremy and Jennifer Harpst, Jessica Jesberg, and Snow Montle; great-grandchildren, Auston and Charlotte Harpst; Brothers: Ronald (Donna) Jutila and Robert (Donna) Jutila; nephew, Mickey Montle; and niece, Kimberly Montle.

Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, April 25, 2022, at O’Guinn Family Funeral Home in Birch Run. Rev. Carol J. Freeland officiating. Burial at Pine Grove Cemetery in Arbela Township to follow.

The family will receive visitors Monday from 9 a.m. until the time of service. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society or Alzheimer’s Association.
