Todd Michael LaRose
KEWEENAW BAY — Todd Michael LaRose, age 70, of Keweenaw Bay, passed away unexpectedly while visiting his daughter, son, and granddaughters of Phelps and Eagle River, Wisconsin.
He was born in Pontiac in 1951 to Raymond and Charlotte (Quick) LaRose. He graduated in 1969 from Avondale High School. In 1977, the family moved to the upper peninsula of Michigan, where Todd resided until his passing.
He worked numerous years at Copper Country Mental Health and upon his retirement spent his time with his kids, granddaughters, great niece and great nephews. He loved drinking coffee with anyone that would come to visit.
He is survived by his son, Jacob LaRose of Eagle River, Wisconsin; daughter, Rachael LaRose of Phelps, Wisconsin; sister, Cheryl LaRose of Keweenaw Bay; brother, Tim (Julie) LaFose of Auburn Hills, Michigan; David Karvonen, father of his granddaughters, of Pelkie; his beloved auntie, Janet; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and his “kids” that called him dad.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father, grandparents; his brother, Kelly; his best friend, Dennis Massie; and his pup, Tank.
A celebration of life will take place on April 23, 2022, at 2 p.m. at the Keweenaw Bay Fire Hall.
