Jolene Harter

Jolene was born on January 5, 1968 to Wayland Novak and Harriette Ross in Rhinelander, Wisconsin.

She graduated from Lakeland High School in Minocqua, Wisconsin.

She moved to the area to attend Soumi College and Michigan Tech.

Jolene was united in marriage to Brian Harter on October 26, 2001.

She worked at Calumet Electronics, Northern Auto, Quincy Hill Auto and waitressed and tended bar at establishments in the area.

She enjoyed many conversations with her friends over the years. Her hobbies included needlepoint, cross-stitch, dancing, listening to music and spending time outdoors.

Jolene is preceded in death by her mother and father.

She is survived by her husband Brian, her pet Toto, her special friend Corrine Koski and numerous relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, August 27, at 1 pm located at the Waasa Cemetery. A celebration of life luncheon will be held at 19730 M-203 in Hancock Township following the service. The Ryan Funeral Home will be assisting the family with arrangements.
