Michael Juleff
Michael William Juleff also known as “Thunder,” passed away Saturday, August 13, 2022, after a brief battle with cancer. Mike was born on September 7, 1965.
He grew up in Atlantic Mine, attended Redridge and E.B. Holman elementary schools and graduated from Houghton High School.
On January 14, 1994, he married the former Kathy Miller of Houghton. They resided in Bessemer for the past 21 years.
Over the years, Mike worked at various Ski Resorts and developed a dare-devil love of skiing where he earned his nickname “Thunder”. He was also an accomplished carpenter and worked at roofing homes, and other renovations.
Mike was able to spend his last days at home with his loving wife by his side.
He is survived by his wife Kathy, his mother Grace Juleff of Houghton; sister, Kimberly (Carl) Johnson of Hancock; brother, David (Penny) Juleff of Ft. Myers, Florida; niece, Mikala Johnson of Hancock; nephew, Max Juleff and great-niece, Luna Juleff of Ft. Myers, Florida. He is also survived by a great number of wonderful cousins.
Michael and his wife Kathy resided in Bessemer Michigan, where they had a great network of friends and family who are devastated by this news.
We will all miss you Thunder.
