Alfred T. Blind

Al graduated from Saint Anthony’s High School in Detroit in 1950. He was passionate about cars and enjoyed a long career in the auto business working at Packard and later General Motors.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary; two sisters, Mary Catherine Steele and Margaret Blind and daughters Laura of Florida and Kristin (Mark) of Texas and a son Kevin (Rachel) of Orchard Lake, MI.

Also surviving are grandchildren William, Brooke, Ryan and Grant, many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, September 19, 2022, at 10 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church with Rev. Fr. Gracious Pulimoottil to officiate.

Friends may call at the church one hour prior to Mass (9 am to 9:50 a.m.). Interment will be in the Lake View Cemetery. Ryan Funeral Home is serving the family.
