Thomas J. Roth
Thomas J. Roth, age 89, of Iron River, MI, passed away on Friday September 2, 2022, at Aspirus Iron River Hospital.
He was born on April 24, 1933, in Hancock, MI, the son of the late John “Jack” and Marie (Bach) Roth. He was a US Army Veteran.
Thomas was employed in manufacturing for Central Steel and Wire Company. He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Iron River and The American Legion Alfred Branchini Post #17, where he was a former post commander. He enjoyed working in his yard.
Thomas is survived by his brother, George Roth of Michigan, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Bob, Clarence, and James and his sisters, Marie and Patsy.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 16, 2022, at 11 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Iron River with Rev. Jose Cherian to offer the Mass of Christian Burial. The West Side Veterans will accord Military Rites after the service.
