Kay Masters

She was born in Hancock on August 10, 1937 to the late Mort and Verna (Kettenbeil) McCarthy. She was employed by several local businesses, eventually retiring from Michigan Tech University.

Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Roger Masters, a brother, Michael McCarthy, and a sister and brother-in-law, Patricia (Donald) Koski.

She is survived by a brother, Robert McCarthy, and a sister, Marlene (George) Bodi, and by several nieces and nephews.

At the request of the deceased viewing will be private and there will be no visitation. Private graveside services and burial will be held in the spring at Forest Hill Cemetery in Houghton.

The O’Neill-Dennis Funeral Home in Hancock is assisting with her arrangements.
