Barbara Ann Buth

Barbara Ann Buth, 62, formerly of Houghton, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2023 at the Omega House in Houghton.

She was born on June 24, 1960 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, a daughter of Ronald Buth Sr. and Josephine (Wirtz) Buth.

She worked for many years at the Houghton County Medical Care Facility in Hancock as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). She was hard working and taking care of others was her nature.

Barbara enjoyed spending time at Lake Superior, hunting for agates and beach glass. She was a dog lover and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Buth Sr., and her sisters Marcy, Wendy, Tina, and Monica.

She is survived by her mother, Josephine, her daughter, Samantha (Collin) Saint-Onge, her granddaughters who she loved more than anything, Claire and Sienna Saint-Onge, two brothers, two sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A private celebration of life will take place in the summer of 2023. Donations in lieu of flowers may be directed to the Omega House, 2211 Maureen Lane, Houghton, MI 49931 in Barb’s memory.
