Dickie E. Stuffle

Dickie E Stuffle, 84 of Gay, Michigan passed away on 5/9/23 at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay, WI.

He was born 11/13/1938 in Exeland, Wisconsin, to Walter and Anna Stuffle.

Dick graduated from Bruce High School and then joined the US Air Force, serving in Okinawa and Germany.

After leaving the Air Force he worked radar systems for the Federal Aviation Administration throughout the Western Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin.

Dick was very active and enjoyed golfing, canoeing, kayaking, traveling, and gardening. One of his favorite activities was spending time with his six grandchildren.

Dick was well known for his love of skiing and served 30 years volunteering with the Ski Patrol at Mont Ripley and Ski Brule. He also volunteered every Thanksgiving with the Little Brothers of the Elderly – Upper Michigan.

Dick is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Wendy Stuffle, and his three children: Chris Swanson (George) of Oregon, Bruce Stuffle (Dawn) of Wisconsin, Robin Rickman (Ed) of Wisconsin. He is also survived by his grandchildren Caleb, Jack, Emily, Luke, Sam and Braden, and his brothers Walter (Ellen) and Terry (Penny) Stuffle and numerous nieces and nephews.

Dick is predeceased by 5 sisters and 2 brothers. Cremation has been done and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Little Brothers of the Elderly – Upper Michigan Chapter.
