Betty J. Busser

Betty was born on July 9, 1937, in Dixon, Illinois to the late George and Della (Sutton) Trouth. She was raised in Dixon and graduated from the Dixon High School with the class of 1954.

On June 17, 1956, she was united in marriage to Clarence Busser. He preceded her in death on June 14, 2008. The couple moved to Biloxi, MS where Clarence was stationed in the Air Force. During that time, Betty worked as a secretary for a local public school. Clarence was then transferred to the Calumet Air Force Base and the couple made the Copper Country their home.

They resided in Dollar Bay where they raised their children. Betty was a “Domestic Goddess”. She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren and going for rides with them.

Besides her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by her son, Mike, and grandson Mikey.

Surviving are her son, John Busser and daughter, Carole Marcol, both of Dollar Bay.

She is further survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends.

A private graveside service for Betty will be held in the Lakeside Cemetery in Hancock at a later date where she will be laid to rest with her husband, son and grandson.
