Jack Allen Kennedy

Jack Allen Kennedy, beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend passed away unexpectedly in his home in Globe, Arizona, on June 11, 2023. He was 69 years old.

Jack Allen Kennedy was born in Ishpeming, Michigan on May 30 1954, to Allen and Helen Holland Kennedy. He joined the family as the youngest of 4 sons. He grew up in and around Isle Royale Mill location near Houghton, Michigan and learned many things about fishing, camping, skiing, hockey, and the outdoors from his brothers, David, Dan and Ken.

Jack and his parents moved to Globe, AZ and he attended high school there for a short time but returned to graduate from Houghton High School in 1972. He attended Northern Arizona University where he learned silversmithing and jewelry making.

He moved to Nashville, TN where he met and married Gena Hargrave. They had two children, Shane and Erin. He worked as a jewelry designer for many years. He attended Tennessee State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. He was employed as a nurse in various settings.

He met and married Janice Porter and had a son, Sean.

He was married for a short time to Dana Malone.

Jack taught his children the love of the outdoors, camping and hiking, especially the Appalachian Trail.

Jack met Blanca Orellano in 2007 and they lived together until they married in 2012 in Nashville. They moved to Arizona and fell in love with the desert.

In retirement, Jack worked at Walmart for several years managing the hardware department, learning much about home maintenance and gardening. He and Blanca raised stunning roses. Recently he began studying computer repair and software management.

Jack is survived by his loving wife, Blanca, his children Shane, Sean (Sarah), and Erin (Josh) Baker, his father Allen, brothers David (Kathleen) and Kenneth (Sharon) and sister-in-law Billie Jo Kennedy. He was the proud grandpa of Wren and Remi. He is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother and brother Daniel.

He is greatly missed by his family.
