Marlene Petaja
Kearsarge – Marlene (Pitter) Petaja, formerly of Kearsarge, was born on Dec. 9, 1956, and passed away on March 2, 2023.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lois (Ron) Wanhala and George Grandchamp. Husband Bill Petaja, brother Ron Grandchamp, and nephew Jason Grandchamp.
Marlene is survived by her son Don Donahue, sisters Sue (Leon) Vancamp, Cindy (Kevin) Bezotte, Michelle (Dean) Velmer, Tanya (Chip) Duquette, Georgina (Kevin) Fortin, and Crystal (Derrick) Verran, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She is also survived by special friend Tracy Fisher.
Burial will take place June 10, at 2 p.m., at the Calvary Cemetery in Ahmeek, followed by a celebration of life at the Calumet Waterworks Park (Bucky’s).
