David Maki
CALUMET — David Lee Maki, 58, passed away on October 11, 2023, at his home. He was born in Laurium, a son of Wesley Maki and Claire Kolmonen. He was a graduate of Hancock High School. David was a loving and kind hearted man who worked as an auto mechanic.
He was preceded in death by wife Cindy and father Wesley.
He is survived by his mother, siblings Wanda, Dwane, Lissa and Jamie. Also surviving are uncle Sulo E. Maki and nieces and nehpews including Brendan and Sheridan. David’s special friends include Darlene and Clyde Gruver and Tyler Bukema and Ron “Harpo” Mihelich. Private family services were held.
There will be a celebration of life at the Luigi’s Bar on Saturday, November 4, from 2 to 5 p.m. Ryan Funeral Home is serving the family.
