John Michael Weber

John “Jack” Michael Weber, age 80, passed away on October 11, 2023, in Daytona Beach, Florida. He was born July 20, 1943, the son of H. William (Bill) and Marion (Iavelli) Weber of Houghton, Michigan.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Bob and Rick Weber. He is survived by his wife Melba (Niva) of Toivola, son Tommy and wife Kim, and daughter Kristie and husband Nick Magnuski, and grandchildren Everett, Grayson, Wesley, August, Gwen and Bodie.
He is also survived by his brother, H.W. (Hank) and wife Sharon (Lanctot) Weber, Aunt Carroll (Weber) and Uncle Bob Lutz, his brothers’ children and grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jack attended St. Ignatius Loyola Grade School and was a 1961 graduate of Houghton High School. He served in the US Air Force for 4 years, then graduated from Michigan Technological University earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration. He was employed as a Quality Control Engineer at TACOM in Warren, Michigan. Upon retirement in 2002, he and Melba moved to Florida.
He enjoyed golfing with his buddies, and he and Melba loved taking long bicycle rides and walks along the beach. Jack had a unique sense of humor, enjoyed visiting family and friends everywhere, and he dearly loved spending time with his beloved children and grandchildren. He will always be greatly missed by all his family and friends.
