Even though Alex lived in other states, he never wavered from being a Michigan Football, Detroit Lions and Miami Dolphin’s fan. His nephew, Chuck Klingbeil gave Al the opportunity to enjoy many NFL games from the sidelines. It was an experience he talked about for years.
Alex retired in 2013 and moved to Lake Linden, Michigan where he enjoyed his lake life and cutting his grass daily, even if it didn’t need it. In 2018 he and Jeanne moved to California to be closer to their children. He spent the last years of his life, enjoying time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
