Nora Tahtinen
SOUTH RANGE — Nora Tahtinen lived in South Range for many years and served in ministry with her husband, Rev. Roy Tahtinen, at Grace Lutheran Church and as Ministry Coordinator at the Northern Great Lakes Synod.
She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Tahtinen-Pacheco, and son, Timothy Tahtinen. She was a Grandma to Hannah, Grace, Jonathon, Isabella, Reese, and Josie. She was a sister to Hildred Dungan and Joyce Heitkamp (Toivola) and brother to Jack Hansen (Toivola).
She was preceded in Death by her husband, Roy Tahtinen, and her sister, Camilla Johnston.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Bayport, MN, on Saturday, February 3, with visitation from 2-3 p.m. and a meal following the service.
Memorials will be directed to Bethlehem Lutheran Church and Fortune Lake Lutheran Camp, Crystal Falls, MI.
