Dean Korby
MOHAWK — Dean R. Korby, age 85, a resident of Mohawk, Michigan passed away on February 26, 1938 at Canal-View located in Hancock, Michigan.
He was born on March 10, 1938 in Allouez to Robert and Aino (Hill) Korby.
Dean was preceded in death by his wife Gloria (Lethola) Korby, parents Robert and Aino (Hill) Korby, brother Robert Korby, sister Faye Basto, sister in-law Margaret Korby.
Surviving are his children Kathy (Paul) Lahti of Mohawk, Terry (Taylor) Henkel of West Olive Michigan, Renae (Jim) Trembath of Promise City Iowa. His grandchildren Mandy, Amy (Jason), Bill (Nicky), Dean, Rachel (Chris), Matt (Hannah), great-grandchildren Mercedes, Kylee, Tyler, Paige, Charlie, Viviene. His brother Lawrence Korby of Farmington Michigan, brother in-law Carl Basto of Negaunee Michigan, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A funeral service for Dean will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday March 2, 2024, at the Erickson Crowley Peterson Funeral Home located in Calumet, Michigan. Visitation will take place from 10 – 11 a.m. on Saturday March 2, 2024, at the funeral home.
