Marilyn Petrison
CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI — Marilyn Hermann Petrison, age 86, passed away on Friday, January 8, 2024 at Rose Senior Living in Clinton Township, MI.
The daughter of Joseph and Mara belle (Muzzy), she was born on May 17, 1937 in Hancock MI. Marilyn was a compassionate and dedicated nurse at Beaumont Hospitals for decades but her deepest calling was that of wife and mother. Loving care of her family was her greatest passion. Her most frequent hobby was “guiding” Leo, and they had a deep abiding love for each other. Her life is a shining example of faith in Christ and love of family and friends for her children to follow.
She was preceded one month in death by her husband and love of her life Leo of 61 years whom she captivated while skiing at Boyne Mountain. She was also preceded by her parents and her granddaughter Anna Lee Flory.
Surviving are her brothers John (Barb) Hermann and Harry (Carol) Hermann, her children Nancy (Brian) Flory, Joe (Michelle) Petrison and Leanne (Mike) Alden; grandchildren Nicole, Maria, Rachel, Alexander, Zachary and 4 great grandchildren. She was loved by so many and will be missed by all.
A Memorial Service for both Marilyn and Leo with lunch following will be held on May 9, 2024 at 10 a.m. at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 54045 Schoenherr Road Shelby Township, MI 48315.
