Mary Ann Warmington

Mary Ann was born December 23, 1938 at home in Point Mills, MI in the Upper Peninsula. She was raised in the UP and enjoyed her childhood exploring the wilderness, skiing, swimming, and playing hockey. She had a lengthy career as a Registered Nurse, which she considered her greatest accomplishment and worked in a variety of positions for more than 60 years.

She married Robert E. Warmington of Hancock, MI, February 11, 1961, and together they have 4 surviving daughters: Jean Warmington, Jayne Allen, Kathleen (Christopher) Dimitruck, and Sandra Warmington.

Surviving are sister Nancy King of Atlantic Mine, MI. Sister-in-law Judy Gauthier of Owatonna, MN. Grandchildren: Andrew (Emily) Warmington, Elly (Hamza) Shanaa, Anna Allen, Boreas Dimitruck, Maximillian Dimitruck. 2 great grandchildren Zoey Warmington and Aiden Warmington and many cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and her beloved dogs, Tipper and Snuffie.

Preceding her in death are her parents William and Lillian Lahikainen, bothers-in-law Edward Gauthier, and Richard King.

Mary Ann will be greatly missed. As was her request there will be no services. In leiu of flowers, please be kind to those around you in memory of Mary Ann.
