Alice Kemppa
HUBBELL — Alice Kemppa, 85, passed away on March 11, 2024, at Our Lady of Mercy (Green Tree) Nursing Home, Hubbell, MI, where she was a resident for the past 6 years. Alice was born on April 16, 1938, in Toivola, Michigan, and was the child of Rudolph & Lydia (Mikkola) Kemppa.
She graduated from Hancock High School, Class of 1955.
Surviving are; nieces Karen (Joe) Felton of Racine, WI; Christine (Terry) Evans of Lake Linden, MI; Connie (Mark) Spanton of Republic, MI. Nephews: Keith Miettinen of Milan, MI; Kevin of Waxhaw, North Carolina; Michael (Crystal) Lorasch of Gladwin, MI. Many close cousins, great nieces & nephews, friends & classmates.
Proceeding her in death are; parents Rudolph & Lydia Kemppa. Sisters: Anna Mae (Raymond) Miettinen, Betty (Jim) Lindgren. Brothers: Arnold & Kenneth Kemppa. Nieces: Lisa, Tana & Tamara Lorasch. Nephews: Glenn & David Miettinen.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
A special thanks to the staff at Our Lady of Mercy for their loving care of Aunt Alice. We will all miss her wit, spunk & laughter. Have a piece of chocolate in memory of Alice!
